Maya Express (in collaboration with Julien Prévost)
In the heat of the Yucatán peninsula, Milo (Adam Bessa), a young engineering expat finds himself caught up in a web of seduction and betrayal . The company he works for is involved in a corruption scandal related to the construction of a hub and resort on the Maya Express route, along the Caribbean coast and the Mayan citadels.
Framed for the murder of a woman, Milo becomes a scapegoat and media distractor. Thrown from a lush lifestyle into the hell of a Mexican prison, Milo pulls out keen survival skills and strength to navigate this hostile environment, a world with its own rules, a haven of crime and brutality.
Against all odds, his only ally in his quest to clean his name and go free is a journalist he first tried to seduce then ignored her plea for help after she was beaten and arrested at a demonstration linked to the site his company is building.
A violent mutiny forces Milo to escape by all means only to find himself in the thick humid jungle, wounded, in a desperate flight for freedom.
